03 – Installing Hugo

As mentioned earlier, this tutorial isn’t a substitute for the official Hugo documentation, so I’ll simply point you to the installation instructions below:

There you’ll find various options for installing Hugo, including building from source if that’s your preference. However, you should stick with the pre-built binaries whenever possible.

Updates are frequent: you can find a new point release at least every couple of weeks. The best way to follow along is the official changelog on Github:
